Ladies and Gentlemen it’s time to start your engines, well nearly!
We have just heard from 750 mc that our scheduled round of the CALM All Porsche Trophy will go ahead on Saturday 29th August. For the second year in succession we share the grid with Bernie’s V8s on the iconic Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. We plan to run the 20 minute quali plus the 40 minute race on the same day for up to 2 drivers.
Government and Motorsport UK guidelines will be adhered to throughout the event so please check out the latest arrangements here https://www.motorsportuk.org/restart/?mc_cid=3beb0b4673&mc_eid=96c05e3a33
We will, of course, be monitoring the situation ourselves but you should make yourself aware of the various conditions current on race day.
You can join the CALM All Porsche Trophy and book your place on the grid at https://www.750mc.co.uk/calendar.htm
Please let Philip know if your are planning to enter so we can have some idea of numbers by emailing email@example.com
Our Zandvoort round on 30th May has just been added to the ever growing list of race days that have been cancelled worldwide. We are in talks with the All Dutch Porsche racing club with a view of a replacement, possibly at Spa, but will keep all our members informed as to the outcome of those talks.
The date of the next proposed round of the CALM All Porsche Trophy is on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. As it is also a round of the British GT championship we have every hope that it will go ahead if it is safe to do so.
May we take this opportunity to thank everyone for their cooperation as we all try to get through this safely.
We’ve received news this morning that all motorsport events have been suspended by the UK governing body until 30th June, meaning that our Silverstone, Snetterton, Zandvoort and Thruxton rounds will not go ahead as scheduled.
